Grant & Scholarship Application Instructions

To complete your Masa Israel universal grant and/or needs-based scholarship application form, please follow the steps below:

1. Check your eligibility

2. Prepare the following information:

the full name of the program to which you are applying
your contact information, including a current email address
If you are applying for a needs-based scholarship, you'll also need your or your parents' current financial information

3. Carefully read each step of the application. Complete all mandatory fields (marked with *) before moving on to the next step of the application. Please use Internet Explorer if possible.

4. After submitting your application, you will receive a confirmation email. The email will include a PDF file of your application. Please verify that the information in the PDF file is correct. If changes need to be made please do not complete another form, just send the corrections to masainfo@masaisrael.org and we will make the changes. If you are completing an application for a program starting BEFORE July 1st 2013, you will need to print the last page of the PDF file, sign and date it. Submit this signed last page directly to your Israel program by email, fax or regular mail. For those applying for programs starting AFTER July 1st 2013, this is not required, as you will be required to e-sign your application.

5. If you are applying for a needs-based scholarship, all the appropriate financial documents must be submitted directly to your Israel program by email, fax or regular mail.

6. Note that receipt of financial assistance from Masa Israel is subject to the existence of an approved budget for Masa Israel for the 2013-2014 academic year both in the budget of the Jewish Agency for Israel and in the Israeli Government’s National Budget.

Please note: To apply for Masa funding for participation in either the “Kibbutz Ulpan Yagur - June 2013” program or the “Neve Yerushalayim - General Jewish Studies - June 2013” program, you MUST COMPLETE THE 2013-14 APPLICATION FORM.
